LEE TOWNSHIP,Mich. — According to the Allegan County Sheriff’s office the man who was found dead in a yard in Lee Township has been identified as Robert Samuel Gilmore.
Autopsy information at this time points to death by natural causes, pending toxicology.
The Sheriff’s Office is still looking for information as to the details surrounding Mr. Gilmore’s arrival to the 54th St address and his connection to the area. Any one with information is asked to call the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office at 269-673-0500 or Silent Observer.
On August 31 at approximately 12:46 PM, dispatch received a call of a male subject who walked on to a property in the 100 block of 54th St. in Lee Township requesting help. AMR ambulance and Lee Township first responders arrived on scene and attempted to resuscitate the subject but they were unsuccessful.
