HOLLAND, Mich. — A 41-year-old woman was charged with assault with intent to murder Wednesday after allegedly trying to choke her roommate to death in a Holland halfway home.
According to police, Lori Ann Pietila’s roommate was found nearly unconscious in their apartment Sept. 3. Pietila is currently being held on a $75,000 bond, and her next court date has not yet been scheduled.
