COVERT TWP, Mich.- Van Buren County Sheriff’s Deputies were tipped off to a house with a bunch of marijuana in it in the 29000 block of Blue Star Highway on Saturday.
After investigating, they got a search warrant for the house and took away 128 plants along with 7 to 8 pounds of marijuana. Officials say even if the homeowner was a licensed caregiver, their operation was not set up legally.
Officials figured out the homeowner lives in Chicago and they couldn’t make contact with them. The Van Buren County Sheriff is still investigating.
