ALLENDALE, Mich.–Community members will tee off, Friday, in remembrance of former Grand Valley State University Football star, Cullen Finnerty.
The Cullen Finnerty Memorial Golf Scramble begins at 8 a.m. at Meadows Golf Course on the grounds of Grand Valley State University. The event, hosted by the non-profit, Play Compete Help Foundation, is aimed at raising money for Finnerty’s wife and two young children.
Finnerty passed away late May after he went out on a quick fishing trip in Lake County, but never came back.
