Ottawa County, Mich., — Ottawa County Dispatch says an adult male has been removed from the trench and has been transported to the hospital.
It was just after 1:30pm, Thursday when dispatchers received the call of an adult male trapped in a trench in the 7400 block of Jasper.
First responders say new piping was being laid in a trench at a new addition in a subdivision when the trench collapsed on a man from the waist down.
The adult male suffers from a broken leg and other serious injuries.
