KALAMAZOO,Mich. — The victim of the homicide this past Friday evening in the 1400 block of Race St. has been identified as Lionel Lopez Jr. age 43.
The suspect arrested in connection to the murder has been identified as 20-year old Demarcus Cornellious Finley. He was arraigned in 8th District Court. The charges of Open Murder, 2 counts of Felony Firearms, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana were all authorized. Mr. Finley is being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail with No Bond.
