GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man has been hospitalized with unknown injuries after he was hit by a car late Thursday night.
Dispatchers say the accident happened shortly after 9:00 p.m. near Division Avenue and Kirtland Street in the city’s southwest side. The man, in his early thirties, was riding his bicycle and came out from between two buildings. The driver of an approaching car never saw him, and the vehicle struck the bicyclist.
The victim was said to have serious injuries at the scene, and was rushed to the hospital where his condition is not clear at this time.
