HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two suspects were arrested Thursday after a meth lab bust in Van Buren County.
Scotty McConnell, 26, of Paw Paw, and his wife, an unidentified 23-year-old, were both arrested at the Applewood Mobile Home Community located in Hartford Township. Both will be charged with operating and maintaining a meth lab, and McConnell also had three outstanding warrants.
According to officials, McConnell attempted to flee when they surrounded the couple’s mobile home.
