HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Sixteen year old Gizelle Coria of Zeeland has died due to injuries suffered from an August 20 accident.
The accident happened at 2:14 a.m. at U.S. 31 and Chicago Drive in Holland Township.
Coria was riding on the back of a bicycle as it crossed U.S. 31, police said. She jumped off in the traffic lane, and that’s when she was hit by a car.
The accident remains under investigation. There is no word yet on if any charges will be filed.
