The Calder Cup Is Coming to East Grand Rapids Friday

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Calder Cup has been traveling all over the world this summer as each member of the Grand Rapids Griffins gets to spend a day with it.  This Friday, the Calder Cup will becoming to East Grand Rapids

Luke Glendening will be allowing the public to take part in his day with the Calder Cup from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Big Bob’s Pizza on Croswell Avenue. Glendening was an instrumental part of the Griffins championship-run as a rookie, racking up 16 points (6 Goals, 10 Assists) which was good for third-best on the team. He was also called on to take many of the key face-offs during the postseason, especially late in games.

Glendening recently signed a one-year deal with the Griffins parent-club, the Detroit Red Wings.
