DETROIT, Mich. — The Detroit Red Wings is teaming up with the Van Andel Institute’s Purple Community to raise money for cancer research.
According to a press release, proceeds from the Oct. 26 game against the New York Rangers will go toward the cause. For $100, fans can purchase an upper-level seat and get a photo opportunity with the team on the ice after the game. Tickets for the game go on sale Saturday, Aug. 24.
