HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A teenage girl has been rushed to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at 2:14 a.m. at U.S. 31 and Chicago Drive in Holland Township.
Gizelle Coria, 16, was riding on the back of a bicycle as it crossed U.S. 31, police said. She jumped off in the traffic lane, and that’s when she was hit by a car.
Coria was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The accident remains under investigation. There is no word yet on if any charges will be filed.
