AURORA, Ill. — An Ohio-based grower has recalled 465 boxes of cilantro because of possible contamination, according to the FDA’s website.
The cilantro was shipped to several West Michigan Meijer locations and other places around the state as well as stores in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio earlier this month. Buurma Farms Inc. is recalling the herb because it could be contaminated with the Listeria bacteria.
For a full list of stores that may have received the cilantro, go to the FDA’s website. Customers with questions may also contact Buurma Farms at 419-935-6411 during normal business hours.
