GRAND RAPIDS, Mich- A man is recovering right now after being shot in the leg overnight. He was shot outside of a house in the 1100 block of Ionia Street SW according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and he is being uncooperative with police.
Police do have a person of interest that they are looking for. That man is described as being a black male in his mid 20’s, wearing a white t-shirt and blue pants.
The shooting remains under investigation.
