EASTON TOWNSHIP, Mich- One person is recovering in the hospital right now after a two vehicle crash, Friday afternoon on M-21 in Ionia County.
According to the Ionia County Sheriff’s Department, the 2000 Pontiac Bonneville was traveling westbound on M-21, driven by Vickie Clark of Ionia, rear ended a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Stacy Wickerink of Ionia. Her vehicle was stopped in the roadway waiting to make a left-hand turn into a driveway.
Ms. Clark has to extracted from her vehicle and was taken to Sparrow Ionia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Ms. Wickerlink was treated at the scene for her minor injuries.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol is believed to not be a factor in this accident.
