MUSKEGON,Mich. (Aug. 16, 2013) — According to the Muskegon Police Department two bar patrons, a 54-year old female from Norton Shores and a 58-year old male from Muskegon both had been slashed in the throat/neck area with a cutting instrument. The Stabbing happened at the Old Clover Bar at 817 E Forest AVE.
The victims were initially treated at the scene by responding Officers and Medical First Responders. Each victim, suffering from severe lacerations, was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment and surgery.
Both of the victims and other witnesses managed to describe the suspect as a white male in his 20’s. The attack was described as being unprovoked. The suspect a 23-year-old Parolee from Fruitport Township, was quickly apprehended by Muskegon Police Officers only blocks from the scene. According to the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office the suspect Kyle Gregory Stone will be charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder and being a habitual offender 2nd offense. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison or any term of years.
