KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The weekend forecast around West Michigan looks pretty much ideal for the middle of August. That means great conditions for outdoor events, including the Arcadia Rock Fest taking place in downtown Kalamazoo.
High pressure will dominate the weather pattern through the next several days. That means winds will stay light, and skies will remain mainly sunny and clear.
Gradually, warmer and more humid air will make a comeback over the weekend. High temperatures will start in the upper 70s on Friday, then climb into the low to mid 80s by Sunday.
A more typical mid-August forecast arrives next week, with increasing humidity, highs pushing 90°, and chances of scattered thunderstorms.
The Arcadia Rock Fest is a music event Friday and Saturday, put on by the Wright for Kids organization. Click here for more information.
