5k Race that ‘Makes Grown Ninjas Cry’ is Coming to Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A race that combines athleticism and endurance with the insanity of televised competitions like Ninja Warrior and Wipeout is coming to Grand Rapids.

It’s called the Hit and Run 5k.  The 3.1 mile race takes place on a massive obstacle course that includes pools, balance beams, and other pitfalls to try and avoid.  A full promotional video was just released this week, and it is embedded at the end of this post.

At this point, the earliest confirmed dates are in Utah and Florida in October and November.  The Grand Rapids event does not yet have a date, but you can receive updates by clicking here.
