GRAND RAPIDS – Quilt Week 2013 kicks off on Wednesday, while the American Quilter’s Society also announces another three-year contract extension with Experience Grand Rapids.
The return of the popular event in 2015, 2016, and 2017 is expected to bring in an estimated total of $32 million. AQS is currently in the second year of its first three-year contract.
Quilt Week runs August 14 – 17 in downtown Grand Rapids, with 21,000 people expected to attend in some capacity. There are more than 750 world-class quilts on display, plus classes, lectures, and much more. For additional information, click here.
