KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A minivan carrying eight people, including six children, rear-ended a semi-truck getting off the 100th Street exit on northbound US 131 Monday afternoon.
Both people in the front seats in the van were critically injured, and three of the children sustained non-life threatening injuries. The children’s ages range from 6 months to 10 years old.
Northbound 131 is now open after the three-car accident.
