GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Gasoline from eight vehicles leaked into flood water after a pipeline burst in a parking garage at 77 Monroe Center in Grand Rapids 11 a.m. Friday.

According to emergency officials at the scene, building and neighboring condos have been evacuated and power has been shut off in the immediate area while the water is drained.

The flood water rose above 4 feet, rising above the gas tanks and causing the leaks, officials said.
