RUTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Officials have identified the suspect in the sexual assault of an 82-year-old Hastings woman as Michael Carl Cooley.
The 34-year-old man is considered armed and dangerous in Barry County’s Rutland Township. Police have set up a perimeter on Yackley, Tanner Lake, Hall and Cook roads. Residents are asked to stay inside until Cooley is apprehended.
