COOPERSVILLE, Mich. — A man was injured in a zip-line accident in Coopersville Tuesday evening.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, the man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after falling from a platform set up for the town’s Summerfest celebration at around 7:42 p.m. Officials say the man was not wearing a harness.
The zip-line was initially going to be set up as a temporary attraction from Tuesday until Sunday. It is unclear at this time if it will be taken down after the accident.
