CHARLOTTE, Mich. — Josie Seebeck, a sophomore women’s soccer player at Central Michigan University, died in the hospital at 11:40 p.m. Sunday after a car crash in Charlotte, Mich. on Friday, Aug. 2.
According to a press release from the university, two other soccer players were in the car with her as well. One remains hospitalized, and the other was released Saturday after being kept for observation. Police are currently not releasing any other information about the crash.
