CLARKSTON, Mich (WJBK)- Kid Rock’s home was the target of an attempted break-in Wednesday when a man drove a van through the gate of the musician’s northern Oakland County estate. He then tried to break into a building on the property.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested a 43 year old man from Independence Township Saturday morning. He is accused of attempting to break into Kid Rock’s Clarkston home on July 31.
The man is being held at the Oakland County Jail until his arraignment on Monday.
His 1994 Ford Club Wagon van was also impounded by police. That’s the vehicle he used to force open the gated driveway to the property.
