Thursday Forecast: Returning to Sunshine

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Despite some fog and clouds in the morning, sunshine will return around West Michigan for most of the day Thursday.

The majority of day will be relatively pleasant, as temperatures climb back into the upper 70s.  However, a quick-moving disturbance may trigger a few isolated showers or thunderstorms away from Lake Michigan.  The best chance for rain will be east of U.S. 131 from late morning through mid-afternoon.

Partly cloudy conditions will hang around tonight, before a stronger weather system brings showers and thunderstorms back into the region during the day Friday.

Things should dry out again Friday night, with very nice weather on the way over the weekend.
