WYOMING, MI — The Man that was caught assaulting a female bus driver on camera is set to stand trial.
19- Year old Christopher Glen Berry will face one charge of aggravated assault in Wyoming District Court for allegedly punching Rapids Bus driver Samantha Whitfield on July 9.
On July 9 at approximately 9:30 p.m. the female driver was punched by the suspect who was a passenger on the bus. The suspect became verbally aggressive after the driver told him he would have to exit the bus or pay again after he had completed a ride of the entire bus route. The suspect then approached the driver and punched her in the face before exiting the bus and running southbound on S. Division Avenue.
