GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A taxi that was stolen Thursday morning at gunpoint has been recovered, according to police.
The cab, a white and blue Pontiac van, was found on the 1700 block of Horton Avenue SE near Francis Avenue.
According to police, a man robbed the driver of $300 and took the vehicle at gunpoint at around 2:15 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue SE. That suspect is still being sought by police. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, in his earl 20s with braids, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
