ANN ARBOR & EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Wolverines have been tabbed as the 17th-ranked team in the country entering the 2013 college football season, according to the USA Today Coaches Poll released on Thursday.
Michigan State — although not technically ranked in the Top 25 — accumulated enough votes to sit 28th in the nation.
The Spartans open the season on Friday, August 30 against Western Michigan. The Wolverines open August 31, hosting Central Michigan.
