Two Car Crash Sends Three To Hospital

generic police lightsOVERISEL TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three people were taking to the hospital after a two Car crash On Tuesday.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of 140th Avenue & 46th Street in Overisel Township.

Deputies located two vehicles that had collided and spun off into a soybean field.

An investigation indicates that a vehicle driven by a Zeeland resident was southbound on 46th Street when he failed to stop at the signed intersection of 46th Street and 140th Avenue.  A westbound vehicle occupied by two Holland area men was coming through the intersection when they were struck by the southbound vehicle.

Due to serious injuries sustained by the passenger in the westbound vehicle, the Aero-Med helicopter responded to the scene & airlifted the victim to Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids.  The other two occupants of the vehicles were transported by AMR ambulance to Holland Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
