KALAMAZOO, Mich — A man suspected of robbing an Indiana bank, who was believed to be armed and dangerous, has been arrested in West Michigan.
The FBI had announced a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the arrest of 29-year-old Dontae Travier, also known as Dontae Deshawn Williams-Travier, also known as “touchey,” “touchey-g,” “kid” or “tay.”
Tuesday night at approximately 7:30 p.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers arrested him near the intersection of E Crosstown and Mills Street.
Travier is charged in a federal criminal complaint issued in the Northern District of Indiana with robbing the PNC Bank in Ossian, Indiana, on May 29, 2013. He is described as a black male, 29 years of age, 6’01” tall, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Travier has been known to record and perform in rap music videos. He was considered armed and dangerous.
Travier was taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail pending extradition to Indiana.
