MUSKEGON, Mich. — The woman who admitted she tried to hire someone to kill her husband will be sentenced in a Muskegon County court on Tuesday.
Julia Merfeld was recently captured on hidden camera, attempting to hire a hit man. What she didn’t realize, was the person to whom she was offering the money was an undercover police officer.
Merfeld’s husband, the target of the attempted hit, has said he doesn’t want her to serve any jail time.
