Brush was traveling northbound in the left lane of US-23 at around 12:20 p.m. when her vehicle went onto the left shoulder when entering a curve along the road, according to the Michigan State Police.

Troopers believe she over-corrected, swerved to the right, and lost control of the vehicle, which rolled several times in the median.

Brush was taken to St. Joseph Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.  Investigating state troopers said Brush was wearing a seat belt.
