Cool And Rainy Sunday Ahead

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN — Lake enhanced rain showers are moving through West Michigan this morning and will continue through this afternoon and evening. Areas along the Lakeshore like Muskegon and Holland have had moderate to heavy rain with both areas reporting around a half-inch of rain since midnight. Rain totals this afternoon will be highest along the lake and taper off the farther you head inland.

Temperatures will be cool once again today with afternoon high temperatures struggling into the mid to upper 60’s. Combine rain showers and gusty west winds and it will feel even cooler. Rain showers will come to an end after midnight and skies will gradually clear early Monday. Temperatures will start on a warming trend through the first half of the week with temperatures warming to around seasonably average by mid-week.
