Catalytic Converters Stolen From Vehicles In Park And Ride Lots

WAYLAND, Mich- Michigan State Police are investigating, a string of catalytic converters thefts at the MDOT Park and Ride lots along US-131 in Allegan County.

On Friday, July 26th, a Trooper responded to the lots at 142nd Avenue (Dorr) and 129th Avenue (Bradley) where several people returned to find the catalytic converters removed from their parked vehicles.

Reports have also been received by Allegan County Sheriff’s Department from victims at the M-222 (Martin) lot in the days prior to this.

The thefts on Friday occurred between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm.
