Grand Rapids Police Seek Missing Autistic Teen

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Bret Williams, a 16-year-old Grand Rapids resident with autism, is being sought after running away from home after an argument with his parents at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Williams is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 140 lbs.  He has brown spiked hair and wears dark-framed glasses.

Grand Rapids Police say Williams has a history of self-destructive behavior and past runaways.  He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, a dark-colored puffy vest and jeans.  Police also say that he has been known to travel to the west side of Grand Rapids and many locations in Walker on foot.
