Relief Settles Into West Michigan Today

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN — A cold front has moved through this morning dropping temperatures and bringing some much-needed relief from the summer heat of last week. Winds out of the northwest will usher in some cooler and drier air as we head through the afternoon. Temperatures this morning are between 5 and 20 degrees cooler than they were this time yesterday morning when temperatures barely dropped into the upper 70’s breaking daily records for warmest low temperature.

Gusty northwest winds along the lakeshore will create another day of hazardous beach conditions, rip current and long-shore current danger continues to be hazardous so use caution when heading into the lake today.

Cooler, drier conditions stick around through the end of next week.
