Two Dead After Plane Crash Near Flint

MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP,Mich. —  Michigan State Police have identified the two victims who died in Wednesday’s plane crash near Dalton Airport in Mt. Morris Township as passenger, Bryce Frownfelter, 20, and pilot, Jerry Zerbe, 82.

Search and rescue teams found the plane Wednesday afternoon about 5 miles northwest of Flint.

The plane left Dalton Airport in Mount Morris Township before the crash. It was headed to Owosso Community Airport.

Investigators are trying to figure out why the plane went down.

According to his Facebook page Frownfelter was a 2012 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and he was a student at Western Michigan University.
