DEARBORN,Mich. — According to WJBK the body of a missing Family Dollar store worker has been discovered not far from where police believe she was abducted earlier this week.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad confirmed that officers recovered the body of 20-year-old Brenna Machus from a wooded area near Michigan Ave. and the Southfield Freeway Thursday morning.
Machus had been missing since Monday night when police say someone walked into the store, shot and killed 20-year-old Joseph Orlando and abducted Machus. Her personal belongings and cell phone were left behind.
Haddad says no suspects are in custody and the department’s investigation is ongoing.
