WALKER, Mich. — According to a company spokesperson the company has let go 25 of its salaried workers.The company said the lay offs are due to reorganizing because of changing market.
In a statement the company says:
“We can confirm BISSELL Homecare, Inc. released approximately five percent of its salaried Grand Rapids workforce on July 18, 2013. In an effort to respond to changing market dynamics, the company is reorganizing in order to better meet its customer expectations.
It was an extremely difficult decision and we are disappointed that we had to take such an action. We are working closely with the displaced Associates providing various forms of financial and outplacement assistance to help them through their transition.”
