ANN ARBOR, Mich. — A trip to the national championship game has paid off for John Beilein.
The Michigan head basketball coach has signed a three-year contract extension that will keep him in Maize and Blue through the 2018-2019 season.
Beilein, 60, will make $2.45 million a year.
The Wolverines have gone to the NCAA Tournament four times under Beilein. Michigan won a share of the Big Ten title in 2012 — their first conference crown since 1986.
