STURGIS, Mich. — A Three Rivers man has been jailed for stealing a delivery vehicle Friday night.
At 7:07 p.m. Friday, the Sturgis Police Department responded to a report of a delivery vehicle being stolen from a business at 1170 South Centerville Road. A search by officers proved unproductive.
A St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department deputy located the delivery vehicle in White Pigeon at 3 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle was stopped and the 27-year-old man from Three Rivers who was driving was arrested.
The man, who deputies identified as a parole absconder, is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail in Centreville.
