MUSKEGON, Mich. — A suspect has been arrested in connection with the June 25 incident of a mother and son being struck by a van in Muskegon.

Aireanna Currier was knocked to the ground by a Gold Pontiac Montana and her son, Elijah, was dragged by the mini-van while in his stroller.  The harrowing video shows Currier chasing after the van and pulling her son out of the stroller.  He was not injured, but she suffered minor abrasions on her legs.

According to Muskegon Police, a warrant is being sought for another suspect who was in the van in the case.

According to the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office, it was the passenger who was taken into custody. The driver, who was shown in the video, is still being sought.
