SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 17-year-old was arrested for allegedly firing shots at another 17-year-old during an argument in the 27000 block of H Drive North in Calhoun County Thursday afternoon.
According to a press release from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, one of the men shot and missed at the other as he was attempting to flee in the 27000 block of H Drive North in Sheridan Township. The victim hid in the grass as the suspect searched for him until he was taken into custody at about 3:46 p.m.
After obtaining a search warrant for the suspect’s house, deputies also discovered marijuana growing. He is currently lodged at the Calhoun County Jail.
