KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Public safety officers in Kalamazoo are seeking 21-year-old Okoli Dion Staggers in connection with a July 4 shooting.
The incident happened in the 1000 block of Hays Park Street at about 9:13 p.m., and put a 52-year-old Kalamazoo man in the hospital with gunshot wounds. An eight-count warrant has been issued for Staggers, and charges include assault with the intent to murder and seven counts of weapons violations.
Staggers is 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighs 130 lbs., and may have a shaved head. He is considered armed and dangerous.
