GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Mainly dry conditions will prevail for most of the remaining holiday weekend, but a few showers or thunderstorms are likely to pop up Saturday afternoon and evening.

As more moisture slides into the region, high, thin cloud cover will remain in place for a good portion of the day, but plenty of sun will still be available for much of West Michigan.  The best chance of seeing rain during the daytime Saturday will be south of Grand Rapids.

High temperatures will be in the mid 80s over the next couple of days, with gradually increasing humidity levels.

Lingering moisture will keep some cloudiness around during the day Sunday, along with a chance of a shower or storm for parts of the region; however, conditions will generally remain dry for much of the daytime Sunday as well.

Chances of more widespread showers and storms will develop heading into the first half of next week.  You can check out the entire 7 Day Forecast on the Weather page.
