MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich- A man is dead tonight after his motorcycle he was driving was hit by a tractor in rural Mecosta County. The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. Friday evening.
James Zielske, a 56 year old Big Rapids resident was traveling northbound on 160th Avenue, when a tractor being driven by a juvenile male turned in front of Zielske.
Zielske was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation has been turned over to the Mecosta County Prosecutors Office for review.
