Friday Forecast: Increasingly Humid

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A few showers are possible during the day Friday, but most of West Michigan will just see a few clouds and increasingly humid conditions as the weekend moves forward.

Some isolated sprinkles and light rain showers drifted northward south and east of Grand Rapids early Friday morning, with most of the activity outside of the FOX 17 viewing area.

The upper-level disturbance generating those showers will move eastward out of the area around midday Friday, leading to a bit more sunshine developing into the afternoon.  Most of West Michigan will remain dry, but a couple of isolated showers are still possible mainly southeast of Grand Rapids.

It will feel a bit more humid during the day, with temperatures in the low to mid 80s.

Moisture will continue to increase over the rest of the weekend, with chances of showers and thunderstorms developing both Saturday and Sunday.  A similar pattern will remain in place into the first half of next week.
