PORT SHELDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 24-year-old West Olive man is in critical condition after a rollover crash in Port Sheldon Township Thursday night.
According to Ottawa County officials, the man was driving north on Lakeshore Drive and attempted to pass another vehicle at a high speed. His car entered a ditch and hit a tree, and both he and a 21-year-old female were ejected from the vehicle.
Both were transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital, and the female passenger was treated and released. The driver was transferred to Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids by AeroMed.
