WYOMING, Mich. — A woman has been rushed to the hospital after being shot in the face early Monday morning.
The incident unfolded on Longfellow Avenue SW in Wyoming shortly before 1:00 a.m. Witnesses said two suspects got out of a car just before shots were fired into a house. One shot hit a 55-year-old woman in the face.
The woman was in stable condition early Monday.
A K-9 unit from the Grand Rapids Police Department has been brought in to assist with tracking the suspects. They were last directed to the area of Klingman’s on 28th Street.
Police are looking for a gray four-door sedan. The front windows were thought to be tinted, but the rear windows were not. They don’t know what make or model the car was.
